The NAU women’s basketball team took down the defending Big Sky Champion, and conference-leading Montana State Bobcats Thursday night, 79-50, in the Skydome. Regan Schenck led the Jacks with 22 points, eight assists and seven rebounds to sweep the season series with the Bobcats. Emily Rodabaugh added 21 points, with five three-pointers in the win. Schenck keeps adding her name to the NAU record books. She tied an NAU record for most assists in a career with 637 and did it while setting a new NAU record for most games played with 144. The win puts NAU in a three-way tie in the loss column with Montana State and Sacramento State, however the Bobcats have one more win than NAU. The Jacks have the tie-breaker currently against both Montana State and Sac State. The Jacks will host fourth place Montana Saturday night in the Skydome. Tip time is at 6 p.m.
