NAU To Hold A “Virtual Commencement” Ceremony Friday Due To COVID-19

Northern Arizona University is celebrating its largest graduating class in the school’s history on Friday. Around six-thousand seniors will be honored by NAU in a virtual ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students and families can click on the link on the school’s website and view the ceremony anytime during the summer. The ceremony will include a message and degree conferral from NAU President Rita Cheng, along with Provost Diane Stearns and Graduate College Dean Maribeth Watwood. The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. and can be seen online at nau.edu/commencement.
