The NAU men’s and women’s basketball teams completed the season sweep of the Idaho Vandals Thursday night. On the women’s side, the Lumberjacks battled Idaho basket to basket and needed double overtime to beat the Vandals 70-67. Khiarica Rasheed had a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds and Jacey Bailey added 19 points for NAU. The win puts the Jacks into second place in the Big Sky Conference with four games left in the regular season. They will take on Eastern Washington in the Skydome Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. On the men’s side, NAU led start to finish as the Lumberjack beat Idaho 78-61 on the road. Bernie Andre led the Jacks with 19 points and 13 rebounds and Brooks Debisschop added 13 points and 13 rebounds in the win. The Jacks have a big game on Saturday in Cheney, Washington against second-place Eastern Washington. Tip time is at 3 p.m.
