Northern Arizona University has decided to move to online instruction for the rest of the semester, after this week. NAU made the announcement Monday that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s anticipated that instruction will remain online starting on Monday, March 23rd. Officials say Flagstaff’s Mountain Campus will remain open and operational and NAU employees will continue to work. It includes university housing, computer labs, food service, Campus Health Services, research labs and all other units across the campus. The school is also canceling campus and public events. The school says commencement alternatives will be announced at a later date. Arizona State and the University of Arizona also announced they will go to online instruction for the rest of the semester as well.
