NAU Men’s Hoops Gets A Win In Glendale Against VMI Saturday

Trent McLaughlin led NAU with 21 points as the Lumberjacks beat Virginia Military Institute Saturday, 78-69, in the third place game of the Desert Bracket of the Arizona Tip-Off At Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale. Jayden Jackson scored a season-high 18 points and Carson Basham came off the bench to score 13 points and grab ten rebounds in the win. The Jacks have won two of their last three games as they head to Hawaii Tuesday to play the Rainbow Warriors. Tip time is at 11:30 p.m.
