The NAU Men’s Cross Country team was celebrated, with a host of other athletes from across the country, at the White House today in honor of College Athlete Day. Vice President Kamala Harris hosted both men’s and women’s NCAA champion teams from this past season. NAU won their third straight men’s cross country national title this season, led by Nico Young and Drew Bosely who finished second and third respectively. NAU tied Oklahoma State with 83 points, but won the tiebreaker to take home the title. It was the first time the men’s cross country team has visited the White House in celebration of a national championship.
