NAU guard Cameron Shelton missed a layup with six-seconds left as the NAU men’s basketball team was upset by 11th-seeded Idaho State, 64-62 in the first round of the Big Sky Tournament in Boise, Idaho Wednesday. Brooks Debisschop led the Jacks, in what may have been his last game as a Lumberjack, scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Junior Bernie Andre added 16 points and Shelton chipped in with 13 points. NAU shot 36-percent from the floor in the game. The Jacks finish the season with a record of 16-13. NAU has had discussions with both the CBI and CTI post-season tournaments, but the CBI cancelled its tournament Wednesday due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There’s no word regarding the CTI tournament as of yet.
