NAU Men’s And Women’s Basketball Teams Picked To Finish Eighth In The Big Sky

The NAU men’s and women’s basketball team has been eighth in conference pre-season polls released Thursday. The women were picked eighth in both coaches and media polls, ahead of Southern Utah, Sacramento State and Weber State. The men’s team were also picked eighth in both polls, ahead of Sacramento State, Idaho State and Idaho. On the men’s side, Eastern Washington was picked to win the conference by the coaches and Montana was picked by the media. On the women’s side, Montana State was picked by both coaches and media to win the Big Sky Conference. The men have an exhibition game against Embry Riddle on Monday, October 28th and begin the season November 6th against Arizona. The women begin play November 8th at New Mexico.
