The 11th-seeded NAU Lumberjacks went on a 9-0 run and took the lead at the start of the second half and led most of the way. However, NAU went scoreless for over four-and-a-half minutes and it cost them as they fell to sixth-seeded Eastern Washington, 78-75, in the first round of the Big Sky Conference Tournament. Freshman Carson Towt had his best game of the season, scoring 21 points and grabbing 16 rebounds in the game. Jalen Cone added 19 points in the loss. NAU had four players in double figures as Mason Stark had 12 and Jay Green had 10 points. The season comes to an end for NAU, as the Jacks finish with a 9-22 record. Jay Green is the only player who is out of eligibility, but with a talented class coming in and a good year of experience, the Jacks will look to improve in a big way next season.
