NAU Men Fall At Pepperdine Saturday, 88-69

The NAU Lumberjacks started their two-game California road trip in Malibu Saturday, taking on the Pepperdine Waves. The Jacks trailed 41-39 at halftime, but the Waves turned up the pressure in the second half. They outscored NAU 47-30 to beat NAU 88-69. The Lumberjacks committed 14 turnovers in the second half, that turned into 36 points for the Waves. Liam Lloyd led the Jacks with 13 points and Jalen Cone added 10 in the loss. The Jacks now head north to Stockton to battle former NAU guard Luke Avdalovic and the Pacific Tigers Tuesday. Tip time is at 8 p.m.
