NAU Improves To 2-2 With A Big Home Win Thursday Against CSU-Bakersfield

The NAU Lumberjacks led start to finish as they improve to 2-2 on the season after beating the Cal-State Bakersfield Roadrunners at the Rolle Activity Center Thursday, 74-64. Sophomore transfer guard Jalen Cone continues to settle in after coming to NAU from Virginia Tech. He led the Jacks with 19 points. Nik Mains and Keith Haymon each had 11 in the win. NAU will head to South Padre Island, Texas Saturday as they take on the Vaqueros of Texas-Rio Grande Valley in the first game of a home-and-home series. Saturday’s tip off will be at noon. The two teams will head to NAU and finish the series at the Rolle Activity Center in Flagstaff Monday. Tip off is at 6 p.m.
