The NAU football is welcoming 13 new Lumberjacks into the fold after early signing day began Wednesday. Nine of the 13 players signed Wednesday are incoming freshman, while four are transfers. Two of the transfers come to Flagstaff from North Carolina State. Defensive back De’Von Graves played two seasons with the Wolfpack and played in all but one game this past season. Graves is from Virgina. Xavier Lyas is a defensive lineman from Florida. He also played two seasons at NC State. Other transfers are tight end Adam Giordano from Wagner and defensive lineman Traemaine Savea from East Los Angeles College. Six of the nine freshman are from Arizona, including running back Kevin Daniels from Glendale High School. Daniels played twice in the Skydome against Flagstaff High School, including in a loss to the Eagles this past season. He posted three one-thousand yard rushing seasons and had 89 career rushing touchdowns. NAU will finish out the 2019-2020 recruiting class in February.
