NAU Football Getting Ready For 2022 Season, Practices To Begin Next Week

The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks football team is starting to get ready for the upcoming season. NAU Football will hold their first spring practice on Tuesday. The Lumberjacks’ first scrimmage game is scheduled for April 2nd at 12:40 p.m. at Saguaro High School in Scottsdale. From last season, the Lumberjacks will be bringing back nine starters on the offensive side, three defensive linemen, one safety, and sophomore quarterback RJ Martinez. The Jacks will officially begin their season on September 1st, where they will take on the Arizona State Sun Devils on the road.
