The NAU women’s basketball team couldn’t find a rhythm and fell to the Portland State Vikings in their regular season finale in the Skydome, 68-63, Wednesday night. The loss is the Lumberjacks tenth-straight against Portland State. Khiarica Rasheed led the Jacks with 16 points and eight rebounds and Jacey Bailey added 14 points and eight rebounds in defeat. Even with the loss, NAU clinches a bye in the first round of next week’s Big Sky Conference Tournament after Southern Utah lost to Montana State at home. The Jacks will play their first game in the tournament in Boise, Idaho next Tuesday against the Montana Grizzlies as the number-five seed. Tip-time will be at 1:30 p.m.
