NAU Falls To Montana State In The Big Sky Women’s Basketball Tournament Title Game In Boise

The NAU Lumberjacks women’s basketball team struggled in the second quarter, but they rallied and fell short as Montana State won the Big Sky Conference Tournament, 75-64. NAU led after the first quarter 15-13, but were outscored by the Bobcats 15-6 in the second quarter. The Jacks also lost their leading scorer Lauren Orndoff with a knee injury late in the first half. Emily Rodabaugh led NAU with 16 points and 11 rebounds, Miki Maio added 14 points and Regan Schenck chipped in with 12 points and nine rebounds. NAU could still play in a postseason tournament, it just won’t be the Big Dance. Montana State goes to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in five years.
