The NAU Lumberjacks ended the 2019 football season on a tough note after they fell to the Idaho Vandals in overtime Saturday, 60-53, in overtime in the Skydome. Senior quarterback Case Cookus ends his college career with 29-of-51 with a career-high 450 yards and three touchdowns. In the game Cookus passed the 12-thousand yard mark for a career and the four-thousand yard mark for the season. Senior running back Joe Logan had 23 carries for 138 yards and three touchdowns also in his last game as a Lumberjack. Wide receiver Brandon Porter had nine catches for 150 yards and a touchdown in the loss. Both teams combined for over 13-hundred yards of total offense in the game. NAU finishes the season with a 4-8 overall record and 2-6 in the Big Sky.
