The Arizona Wildcats scored early and often as they beat the NAU Lumberjacks, 65-41, in Tucson. Even with the loss, it wasn’t all bad for NAU. Senior quarterback Case Cookus was 28-of-48 for 373 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Freshman wide receiver Hendrix Johnson had seven catches for 97 yards in the loss. Arizona outgained NAU, 720 yards to 442. However the 41 points NAU scored, is the most points the Lumberjacks have scored against Arizona in series history.
