The NAU Lumberjacks struggled offensively, falling to 22nd-ranked Eastern Washington on the road Saturday, 38-13. Eastern Washington amassed nearly 400 yards of total offense in the first half to lead NAU 24-6 at halftime. The Eagles finished with 622 yards or total offense, 413 in the air. NAU finished with 344 yards. Eagles quarterback Eric Barriere was 29-49 for 413 yards and three touchdowns for the Eagles. NAU quarterbacks Keyondre Wudtee and Jeff Widener combined for 22-for-38 for 223 yards and no touchdowns for the Jacks, who fall to 1-1 on the six game Spring season. George Robinson led the Jacks in rushing with four carries for 45 yards and the lone touchdown. NAU will return to the Skydome next Saturday, as they take on the Idaho Vandals.
