NAU Cancels Classes And Closes The Mountain Campus Wednesday, Ahead Of Major Winter Storm

Northern Arizona University announced Tuesday morning that they are canceling classes and closing campus on the Mountain Campus Wednesday, due to a major winter storm approaching the area. The decision to close campus is due to the National Weather Service predicting heavy snow and strong winds tonight and all day Wednesday. NAU president Jose Luis Cruz Rivera tweeted after the announcement, “we’ve seen enough. Safety first.”
