The fall semester at Northern Arizona University begins today, but online only. Students are using the NAUFlex online system to hold the majority of classes virtually until August 31st, which is when in-person instruction will begin, coupled with NAUFlex. Students are returning to NAU and school officials say all should be tested for COVID-19 prior to arriving and it’s mandatory if students plan to live on campus. Any student with symptoms, or has tested positive, “must not come to campus and must follow CDC guidelines for self-isolation.” Face coverings will also be required in all buildings, along with physical distancing measures. Daily self-screenings will also be required by using the NAU HealthCheck app. Faculty and staff will also go through the same protocols. For more information, log onto nau.edu.
