NAU Beats SAGU American Indian College In The Lumberjacks Home Opener Friday

The NAU Lumberjacks men’s basketball team started on a 8-0 run and never looked back as they beat the Warriors of SAGU American Indian College, 105-32, at the Rolle Activity Center Friday night. The 73 point win was the largest margin of victory for NAU in school history. The previous mark was set in 2011 when NAU beat Arizona Christian by 61 points. Sophomore Luke Avdalovic had 24 points on 8-of-13 from three point range. Sophomore Cameron Shelton added 13 points, ten rebounds and eight assists in the win. NAU will be back in action next Wednesday night at the Rolle Activity Center against Bendictine University at Mesa. Tip time is at 6 p.m.
