The NAU women’s basketball team beat the Buccaneers from Park University Gilbert Sunday, 111-44, as they get ready to head to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands to play in the Paradise Jam next week. The Lumberjacks had seven players in double figures, led by freshman Audrey Taylor who scored 18 points. NAU shot 57-percent from the field and 28-percent from three-point range in the game. The Jacks held the Buccaneers to 33-percent shooting from the field. NAU has won three straight games and will play the 5-0 Arkansas Razorbacks Thursday, the 5-0 Kansas State Wildcats Friday and the 3-1 Clemson Tigers Saturday, before returning to Flagstaff to play former Big Sky rival Southern Utah on the following Saturday.
