NAU Beats Northern Colorado In Men’s And Women’s Basketball Saturday

The NAU men’s and women’s basketball teams beat Northern Colorado Saturday. The NAU women’s team has won five in a row after beating the Bears in the Skydome, 72-45. The Jacks had a 26-10 lead after one and a 41-19 lead at halftime and didn’t look back. Jacey Bailey led the Jacks with 17 points and eight rebounds and Khiarica Rasheed added 15 in the win. NAU sits just a game back of the lead in the Big Sky Conference. They will hit the road for four straight games starting next Saturday at Portland State against the Vikings. The men led Northern Colorado 32-28 at halftime and rallied from ten points down with five minutes to play to beat the Bears in Greeley, 64-58. Cameron Satterwhite led the Jacks with 16 points and Brooks Debisschop had a double double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. NAU has won three of its last four games. The men are back in the Skydome for four straight games starting Saturday against the Portland State Vikings. Tip time is at 4 p.m.
