NAU Beats Idaho In Regular Season Finale, Earn A First Round Bye Next Week

The NAU women’s basketball team finished the regular season Friday night with a 86-69 win over the Idaho Vandals to clinch a first round bye in next week’s Big Sky Tournament. The Jacks will play in the quarterfinals on Tuesday as the fourth seed. Olivia Moran led the Jacks with 18 points, senior Lauren Orndoff added 15 and Reagan Schenck and Emily Rodabaugh each had ten points in the win. Also senior Khiarica Rasheed scored six points and pulled down 11 rebounds. NAU goes into the tournament on a three game winning streak and will play fifth-seeded Montana at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
