MVD’s New REAL ID Deadline Has Been Pushed Back A Year

The Arizona Department of Transporation’s Motor Vehicle Division has pushed back the changes to the travel ID a year. The new deadline to get the ID is now October 1st of 2021. The reason for the move was due to the coronavirus pandemic, that required MVD to limit the number of people in offices. For that reason, MVD officials are asking customers to postpone plans to get the new AZ Travel ID or otherwise known as the REAL ID.
