The Museum Fire has burned 1,961 acres and is 82-percent contained. A Type 3 team from the Coconino National Forest has taken over management of the fire. It’s been raining steady since last evening, with no reports of flooding yet. There are over 450 firefighters still working on the Museum Fire, however that number is expected to decrease day to day. The Museum Fire is being investigated as a human caused fire that started back on July 21st.
