Multiple units responded to a wildfire in Doney Park early Monday morning. Units from Summit Fire and Medical, Flagstaff Fire and the Forest Service responded to an area in North Turkey Hill at around 4:30 a.m. When units arrived they found about a four acre wildfire burning in the trees and thick brush. Officials say the fire was a result of a vehicle fire. Crews were able to get the fire controlled by 6:30 a.m. Smoke from the fire did not contribute to the lingering smoke in the Flagstaff area. The smoke is from fires ongoing in California and Colorado.
