At least three people were injured, including a child, Friday in a multi-vehicle accident in Cottonwood. Police say four-vehicles collided at around 3:18 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 260 and Rodeo Drive. It was reported that one of the vehicles had rolled over and a small child in a car seat had been ejected. Two occupants of one of the vehicles, which includes the child, were airlifted to Flagstaff Medical Center and a person from another vehicle was taken to Verde Valley Medical Center. One of the drivers is in critical condition, while the child was last reported to have non-life threatening injuries. The cause of the accident is still under investigation and it’s unknown if impairment was a factor.
