Multi-Vehicle Accident Blocks Traffic In Cottonwood Monday Morning

A three vehicle accident blocked southbound State Route 260 in Cottonwood Monday morning. Police responded to the accident at around 8:30 a.m.at State Route 260 and Fir Street after a white 2012 Ford F-150 rear-ended a white 2019 Toyota pickup that had stopped in traffic at the intersection. This caused the pickup to cross into the other southbound lane and hit the rear of a silver 2017 Volkswagen Gulf. The southbound lanes were blocked for about an hour until crews could clear the scene. There were no injuries. The driver of the Ford F-150 was cited for failing for control the speed of their vehicle to avoid an accident.
