Mother Nature Believed To Have Had A Hand In The Bar M Fire Near Stoneman Lake Monday

Lightning is believed to have been the cause of a small wildfire near Stoneman Lake Monday. Coconino National Forest officials say the Bar M Fire grew to over an acre near Lee Butte. Rain in the area kept the fire behavior down to a minimum. No homes or other structures were near the fire. We could see more lightning-caused fires in the area as isolated storms are in the forecast the rest of the week.
