More record high temperatures fell across Northern Arizona Wednesday. The National Weather Service says Flagstaff tied the record high for June 16th. Flagstaff had a high of 92 degrees, which tied record set in 1940. The Prescott Airport set a new record high Wednesday by four degrees. It was 100 Wednesday, which broke the previous record for June 16th of 96 set in 2017. Other areas that set new record high temperatures for Wednesday include: Clarkdale and Phantom Ranch with 116, Payson with 103, Winslow with 107 and Springerville tied the record 95 originally set in 1924.
