More Burning Expected Tuesday And Wednesday On The Kaibab National Forest Near Williams

There will be another burn on the Kaibab National Forest Tuesday and Wednesday, which could filter smoke into Flagstaff. Crews are expected to burn more acres on the Sunflower Prescribed Burn eight miles southeast of Williams. The project is located between County Road 73 and Whitehorse Lake. The burn is expected to last two-to-four days. Smoke will be seen from Williams, Parks, Sherwood Forest, Garland Prairie and I-40 today and Wednesday.
