More areas of the Pipeline and Haywire fires have been downgrade in evacuation status.  The neighborhoods along Mt. Elden Lookout Road that were in “Set” are now in “Ready.”  The south portion of Doney Park, south of Silver Saddle Road to Townsend Winona Road, that were in “Set” are now in “Ready.”  The north portion of Doney Park, north of Silver Saddle Road, will remain in “Set” status for now.  The eastern portion of Alpine Ranchos that is in “Go” is now downgraded to “Set.”  People evacuated from that area are allowed to go home.  The western portion of Alpine Ranchos/Crater Estates, to include properties around Moon Crater will remain in “Go.”  This is due to the Haywire Fire’s continual active status.  The area north of Wuptaki Trails along Highway 89 north to Sacred Mountain Trading Post will remain in “Go” status.  The Pipeline Fire is still very active in this area and is in close proximity to private land and to Medicine Valley residents.  For information on the fires, call (928) 679-8525 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
