A missing woman has been found dead. The family of 29-year-old Areilisa Bryant says her body was found Monday in the Walnut Creek Wash. Coconino County Sheriff’s officials say she was last seen Friday morning at around 8:30 in the 12-thousand block of Bumpy Road in Winona. She was walking northbound in the Walnut Creek Wash with an extension cord. Officials say she had been making suicidal statements. She is survived by her two sons, ages seven and five, her mother, sister and brother. The family says a person of interest has been taken into custody and the investigation is ongoing.
