MCAT Detectives Find Over $15-Thousand Worth Of Meth And Fentanyl In Show Low

Major Crimes Apprehension Team detectives conducted a routine traffic stop near Show Low Thursday that turned into drug arrests. Detectives found 46-year-old Concho resident, Richard Blodgett, and 42-year-old Eager resident, Britain Peters in the vehicle, along with a firearm, six ounces of methamphetamine, and 160 suspected fentanyl pills. Both Blodgett and Peters were taken into custody. Further investigation gave detectives a reasonable cause to obtain a search warrant for two hotel rooms in the Show Low area. Upon arrival of the hotel, detectives found 44-year-old Mesa resident, Jessica Calkins and 34-year-old Mesa resident Cheri Lee, who were both taken into custody on multiple drug-related charges. The search warrant also revealed an additional ounce of meth and about 30 more fentanyl pills. Officials say the estimated street value for the drugs is over 15-thousand dollars. Then on Wednesday, detectives were able to locate 37-year-old Judith Moore and 44-year-old Allen Cowens, both from Winslow, in connection to the search warrant. Both Moore and Cowens were taken into custody on drug-related charges.
