A man who was wanted on numerous felony charges and warrants has been arrested. Authorities took 30-year-old Seth Backus into custody Wednesday morning in Glendale without incident. He was wanted for a probation violation out of Gila County initially and was also wanted on charges of felony flight and felony endangerment after fleeing Cottonwood Police last week. Backus was also wanted on four additional warrants out of Yavapai County. One of the warrants is on an aggravated assault charge from a 2018 incident where he injured a Yavapai County Detention Sergeant’s hand while fighting with staff. He stated he wouldn’t be taken back into custody and was considered to be armed and dangerous.
