A man wanted for eluding Chino Valley and Prescott police officers, tried again Wednesday but this time he got caught. Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies spotted 24-year-old Robert Jane Soper in the area of State Route 89 and Bramble in the Paulden area at around 10:30 a.m. Soper ran from law enforcement again and evaded officers for an hour and a half. Due to a coordinated effort by Sheriff’s deputies, Chino Valley Police and DPS, Soper was taken into custody without incident. Back on September 27th a Chino Valley Police officer attempted to make a traffic stop in the area of Perkinsville Road and Road 1 East. When the officer initiated the stop, Soper increased his speed to around 100 miles per hour on Perkinsville Road. Police later located Soper in a trailer off of North James Drive and he fled a second time. He also fled from Prescott Police on another occasion. Soper faces multiple felony charges in multiple jurisdictions of Yavapai County.
