A man is recovering after he crashed his motorcycle Saturday on Highway 89 in Prescott. Fire officials say the accident happened at around noon just south of Ponderosa Park Road. Crews found a man in his 20s had lost control of the bike in a curve and laid his motorcycle down, sliding into oncoming traffic. Fire officials say a driver who was about to hit the man was aware and swerved to miss him. He suffered non-life threatening injuries, mainly due to the amount of protective clothing he had on at the time of the accident. He was taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center for treatment.
