A man was arrested Saturday after he drove his car onto the sidewalk of the Flagstaff Police Department. Police say 50-year-old Bryan Belote drove into the parking lot and appeared to be behaving suspiciously, which prompted a call inside the building. Belote then caused a disturbance with an employee in which he drove his car onto the sidewalk and parked his vehicle next to the Fallen Officer Memorial statue, nearly hitting the building. He remained in the car and held a road flare for around 15 minutes. Officers were able to talk to Belote and he surrendered without incident. He was booked into the Coconino County Jail on a charge of disorderly conduct.
