A man has been arrested on multiple charges after a shooting incident Monday night near Williams. Coconino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Kaibab Estates West community west of Williams at around 8:30 p.m. Several people were at a home in the area, when a disagreement occurred between two people. Witnesses and victims say the suspect went to his vehicle, grabbed a handgun and fired multiple shots toward the home. He then left the scene and went to a nearby home when he fired more gunshots toward another home. Luckily no one was injured at either location. Deputies from the Coconino County Sheriff’s Department and Yavapai County Sheriff’s Department converged on a residence where the suspect was. Authorities arrested 46-year-old Chad Anderson and he has been booked into the Coconino County Detention Facility on charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, assault drive by shooting, disorderly conduct with a firearm, criminal damage and prohibited weapons possessor. The incident remains under investigation.
