A 63-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after he had been in contact with an undercover detective with the Prescott Valley Police Department, who was posing as a 16-year-old girl. Police say Paul Fagan reached out to the person via Facebook. The two talked for about a week before he started sending explicit photos and talking about meeting who he thought was the girl, even after he found out she was “underage.” Fagan was a prior sex offender and was registered. He was arrested and booked into the Yavapai County Jail on charges related to the arrest. Police remind parents to be aware and talk to your kids about who they talk to via social media and monitor yuor kids’ social media activity.
