Man Arrested In Prescott Valley After Entering A Home And A Neighbor Calling Police

A man has been arrested in Prescott Valley after an alert citizen called police. Prescott Valley Police were called to the 45-hundred block of Katie Circle East at around 8:40 p.m. Sunday night on a report of a possible burglary. The caller says they saw a man break a rear window and enter a home. When officers arrived they immediately called for the man to come out with his hands up. That’s when 33-year-old Jesus Bustamonte came out. He told officers he had lived in the home over two years ago and said that he no longer had a key, so he broke a window to get inside. He was arrested and booked into the Yavapai County Jail on charges of trespassing and criminal damage. Police remind residents that if you “see something, say something.”
