A man has been in arrested in Cornville after a shooting Monday night. Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home in the 14-hundred block of South Chick Road in Cornville. Callers reported hearing a man yelling and believed someone had been shot. Deputies were directed to an RV where a man was laying on the ground. A man inside the trailer told deputies he had been shot and wasn’t armed. The man on the ground was the suspect, 64-year-old Michael Snell. He was taken into custody without incident. The 60-year-old victim was flown to Flagstaff Medical Center and is in stable condition. A handgun was found at the scene. Snell was also armed with a knife. Snell has been booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, assault causing serious injury, burglary, threatening and trespassing. He is being held on 125-thousand dollars bond.
