A man has been arrested in connection with a death Saturday morning in Flagstaff. Officers were called to the 500-block of South Agassiz Street at around 8:35 a.m. on a report of a 29-year-old Flagstaff man being shot. When officers arrived they found a man on a couch of a home, shot and apparently deceased. Officers found a gun located near the man’s body. During the investigation, officers saw an intoxicated man in an alleyway behind the home, who was passed out and had blood on his clothes. The man was taken to Flagstaff Medical Center due to his level of intoxication. Investigators learned the man was a friend of the deceased man and the two had an altercation between them. The suspect has been identified as 29-year-old Lemuel Anthony Littleman. After admitted involvement in the shooting, Littleman was arrested after his release from the hospital and booked into the Coconino County Detention Facility on one count of second degree murder and charges related to being a prohibited possessor of a firearm. The incident remains under investigation.
