Man Apparently Jumps Off The Grand Canyon Skywalk To His Death Saturday

The search is on to try and locate the body of a man who reportedly climbed over a safety barrier at the Grand Canyon Skywalk Saturday and apparently jumped. Grand Canyon West officials say the 28-year-old jumped at around 4:30 p.m. The Skywalk is an attraction on the west side of the Grand Canyon that opened in 2007. It’s a walkway with a glass floor that extends out over the Grand Canyon. The drop from the Skywalk is between 500 and 800 feet. There’s no additional information on who the man is, or the circumstances behind the incident.
