The Disaster Loan Outreach Center will only be open through Thursday for those affected by this summer’s floods. Low-interest federal disaster loans are available to businesses and residents affected by the recent floods in and around Flagstaff, as well as Navajo and Yavapai counties. U.S. Small Business Administration spokeswoman Louise Porter says “if you have had damage to your home, personal property, if you are renting or lost your personal property, you are eligible.” Porter adds, “if you lost real estate, that’s eligible. If you had damage to your business property, that’s eligible and if you had economic injury, that’s eligible as well.” Interest on the loans could be as low as 1.688-percent. The Disaster Loan Outreach Center is open 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. through Thursday at the Coconino County Health and Human Services Building on 2615 North King Street. You can also apply online at disasterloanassistance.sba.gov.
