There was a small, lightning-caused fire that started on Schultz Pass Monday east of Flagstaff. The Corral Fire started in the Schultz Fire burn scar after a lightning strike Monday afternoon. Smoke from the fire could be seen from Doney Park. The Corral Fire was held to nearly two-tenths of an acre and was contained at around 8 p.m. With chance of showers and thunderstorms increasing, we could see a few more of these types of fire, but with added rain fall they are likely to stay small and be contained quickly.
