Lightning-Caused Boulin Fire Burning North Of Williams

A new lighting-caused fire is burning about nine mile north of Interstate-40 at the northwest corner of Spring Valley. Kaibab National Forest officials say the Boulin Fire has burned about 30 acres and it is being used to burn fuels in the area. The fire was discovered last Tuesday and fire managers have planned out a 42-hundred acre boundary for it to burn. Smoke will be seen around the area including in Williams, Bellemont and Flagstaff.
