Idaho State Slips Past NAU Thursday Night In The Skydome

The Idaho State Bengals used a big run in the first half and held off the NAU Lumberjacks in the second half to get the win, 70-66, Thursday night in the Skydome. NAU got out to a 16-4 lead in the first half, but hit a wall as the Bengals led at halftime 34-24. Jalen Cone led the Jacks with 26 points and Nik Mains added 15 in the loss. The Jacks will wrap up their regular season home schedule Saturday afternoon against Weber State at 2 p.m. The Jacks will be on the road at Eastern Washington and Idaho next week, before heading to Boise for the Big Sky Conference Tournament the following week.
