I-17 To Close For An Hour Wednesday Night For Blasting Between Anthem And Sunset Point

Drivers on Interstate-17 could see some major delays starting Wednesday night between Anthem and Sunset Point. ADOT plans to close the interstate from 10 p.m. until 11 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday as crews conduct blasting operations. ADOT says the closures will take place between two to three times a week Monday through Thursday for the next eight months. The work is part of the I-17 Improvement Project, that is aimed to help alleviate congestion and improve safety on the highway.
